Games We’re Excited About – July 2018

June was everything you could want in a month for gaming, with some brilliant releases, and some exciting announcements at E3. With a year that just keeps getting more and more exciting, here’s a look at games we’re excited about for July 2018.

july 2018- hello neighbor

Hello Neighbour – July 27th – PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android

The first game on this months list is survival stealth horror game Hello Neighbour. Originally released on Xbox One in December 2017, the aim of this game is to sneak into your neighbours basement to uncover a secret. The neighbours behaviour is modified depending on the players past actions. Though the xbox one version didn’t receive great reviews, we’re still excited by the art style and by the intelligent AI.

july 2018 - no man's sky

No Man’s Sky – July 24th – Xbox One

Xbox One gamers will finally be able to get their hands on No Man’s Sky next month. Though the initial release for PlayStation 4 was met with massive disappointment, the updates that have been applied since then have been receiving much more encouraging reviews, leaving Xbox One gamers hoping for a well rounded exploration survival game.

july 2018 shining resonance

Shining Resonance Refrain – July 10th – PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Microsoft Windows

Shining Resonance Refrain is a JRPG, published by Sega. The game follows Shining Dragon Irvan, an ancient dragon, though he usually uses his human form, Yuma Irvan. This is an expanded and remastered version of the Japan only release Shining Resonance.

There are plenty of other awesome games due for release next month, and even more great releases in August, including (finally) We Happy Few, so 2018 is definitely a year to be excited about in gaming.
